Despite being grown adults, my friends and I are always up for a Disney movie that reminds us of being young, so of course we made plans to see “Tangled” on a Friday night. […] I knew it would be cute and fun to watch…but I wasn’t expecting a genuinely well-done film that almost rivals classics like “Aladdin” and “The Little Mermaid”.
Salman Khan: Using video to reinvent education
The Khan Academy has been getting a lot of attention, and rightly so. His concept of reversing lecture and homework particularly strikes a chord, reminding me of the ‘lab’ structure you find in sciences. My computer science labs were without question some of my most enjoyable and productive learning environments, both as student and instructor.

My jaw becomes a bit more fixed in the ‘third reel’ when he starts getting into social media, but the first two thirds of this are absolutely amazing.
Two posts in one day that reference previous posts. This one’s not quite as complex as the Super Mario Bros. theme with a laser cutting thingy, but very cool all the same. I just love these hardware/music hacks.
